The S&P 500 Index consists of 503 stocks. According to www.slickcharts.com/sp500, the top 3 currently make up 20% of the entire stock index (Microsoft, Apple, Nvidia). The top 5 comprise 25% of the index (+ Amazon and Meta Platforms). If history has taught investors anything it is that this is unsustainable, and I believe caution should be exercised.
